Our History
Beckley's Camping Center was established in 1980. We were originally located on RT 85 in Frederick. In the spring of 1985, we moved to our present location on Rt. 15, 12 miles north of Frederick. In our 25 years of serving the RV community, we have sold over 19,000 units. Beckley's Camping Center is also proud to have active ownership, which means from opening to closing, the owners are present.
We invite customers to visit our 6,000 sq. ft climate controlled show room, where you can browse our selection of Fleetwood Folding Trailers, or walk our 4 ½ acre lot with more than 300 units, unlocked and ready for your inspection. We carry brands that have longevity in the industry such as Winnebago, Keystone, KZ, Newmar, Sunny Brook, and Fleetwood Folding. These manufacturers honor their warranties and care about their customers.
We separate ourselves from the rest of the industry because of our dedication to customer satisfaction. We are so dedicated to this goal that we have hired an outside company to generate monthly CSI reports that track how our sales team and service department are performing as related to customer satisfaction. CSI stands for Customer Satisfaction Index. Our salesmen are graded on this report and strive to make every customers visit a positive one.
Our award winning customer satisfaction achievements are a direct result of our loyal, hard-working team of employees. In return for their efforts, we close our dealership for Memorial Day, July Fourth, and Labor Day weekends, so they themselves can enjoy the RV lifestyle with their families. We also close on December 22 thru January 1 so our employees can enjoy the holidays with their families. In November, the entire dealership is invited on a sponsored three-day camp out.
Due to our continued growth and success, we have purchased property across the street where we have built a new 11,375 sq foot state of the art service facility with 12 service bays, 4 Motor home lifts, 2 automotive lifts and RVDA Certified Technicians to better serve our customers. Our Million-dollar Service facility is now open and operating Monday thru Friday 9am- 5 pm.
Our parts Department contains over 15,000 parts and is staffed by six knowledgeable members ready to take care of all our consumer's parts needs. We order specialty parts and offer shipping on these parts.
