2014 Keystone Mountaineer Review

The new 2014 Keystone Mountaineer is everything you’d expect from the most popular RV manufacturer in North America. It’s high-end luxury from the master bedroom to the bathroom floor. With four slide-outs and sleeping room for 10, the Mountaineer gives you that sporty camping feel coupled with plenty of space to keep the entire family comfortable (and happy).

Sleep in Comfort

The Keystone Mountaineer houses a private bedroom with a queen-size bed, dresser, wardrobe and plenty of space to unwind. A proper night’s rest is important after a day of adventure, and that’s something the Mountaineer never fails to provide.

The hide-a-bed sofa and bunks are just as comfortable as the queen bed in the master, so your kids and fellow travelers can sleep well too.

Kitchen and Bath

The 2014 edition of the Mountaineer fifth wheel mimics the look and feel of a residential home. The master bedroom includes a private entrance to a full bath with a garden tub, and the rear of the RV houses a half bath, which adds privacy and convenience for all of your travelers.

There are just as many kitchens as there are bathrooms in this RV. The large, open-concept kitchen with solid surface countertops, a three-burner range and double sink allows you to enjoy the same cooking amenities you would at home. Even better, the exterior camping kitchen gives everyone a little more time together outside.

Living Space

It’s hard not to fall in love with every space in this travel trailer. The updated decor, LCD TV and entertainment center make for a perfect place to kick up your feet after a long day on the road. The rear bunk room serves as a second living space with another HD TV for disagreements over the remote.

The 2014 Mountaineer looks and tows better than ever. The high-gloss, gel-coated exterior is more stylish and protected from the elements. The upgraded suspension system makes for a smoother tow, and the aluminum wheels are lighter and won’t rust.
